Lucía Cubero Gutiérrez
Postdoctoral Researcher
Lucía Cubero Gutiérrez is a postdoctoral researcher and teacher working jointly between the Department of Bioengineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the Laboratoire de Traitement du Signal et de l’Image at Université de Rennes. She holds a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Health Information Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, as well as a joint PhD in Biomedical Science and Technology (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid) and in Signals, Images and Vision (École Doctorale Matisse, Université de Rennes).
Her work focuses on developing deep learning methods for medical image analysis and toxicity prediction in head and neck cancer patients treated with radiotherapy, combining methodological innovation with clinically driven applications. Her work has been carried out in an international context between Spain and France, in collaboration with academic and healthcare institutions within European research projects.
Her research interests include artificial intelligence, deep learning, medical image analysis, and predictive modeling for radiotherapy applications.
