Bio

David García Mato received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Science and Technology in 2021 from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2015 and his M.Sc. in Multimedia and Communications in 2016 from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain.

He has worked as a researcher at the Laboratory for Percutaneous Surgery, Queen’s University (Kingston, ON, Canada) in 2017 and the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation, Children’s National Hospital (Washington, DC, USA) in 2019. Also, he was a visiting professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi, India) in 2019.

His research interests include medical imaging and computer-assisted interventions.
